'One Piece' 985 Spoilers Seemingly Confirm The Latest Straw Hats Member

According to the spoilers, Yamato already knew that Luffy is Ace's younger brother and she revealed that she has been waiting for his arrival at Wano. Yamato also said that, like her idol Oden, she also wants to get on Luffy's ship.

The spoilers also shared that "One Piece" Chapter 985 would show Luffy removing Yamato's exploding handcuffs. The Straw Hats' captain's captain delivered freedom to Kaido's daughter, who has been handcuffed for a couple of decades. It appears that the cuffs explode when the wearer leaves Wano.

In the translated conversation between Luffy and Yamato, she revealed that she has been fighting her father for a long time. Over the years, Yamato said that she never won a single battle against Kaido. Luffy also asked Yamato if it is okay with her if he would beat Kaido.

With her newly gained freedom, Yamato told Luffy that she would beat her father. While the spoilers indirectly state that Yamato is the new nakama of the Straw Hats, it implies that Yamato intends to sail with Luffy, just like what Oden did with Gol D. Roger. However, her membership is yet to be approved by the captain, which obviously already grows a liking towards her.
