Following the murder of Kiki Jerome, “General Hospital” fans may be saying goodbye to another character, Oscar Nero. The new kid in town seemed to live a happy and quiet life like with his mother Kim until his world was turned upside down by a terminal cancer diagnosis.

After learning about his brain tumor, Oscar (Garren Stitt) planned to forgo treatment and get emancipated from his parents Drew (Billy Miller) and Kim (Tamara Braun). However, his girlfriend, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) managed to convince him to give the drug trial a chance.

In the previous episode of “GH,” Oscar dropped his emancipation case and agreed to receive treatment for his brain tumor, but it is unclear if the drug trials will take place in Port Charles. Prior to his decision, Kim planned to kidnap Oscar and take him out of the country after she heard about a new treatment available in Brazil.

If Oscar wants to live a long and happy life, he may have to leave Port Charles and Josslyn behind. Although the teen insisted he wanted his girlfriend to be included in all of his plans moving forward, Josslyn’s parents probably won’t allow her to move to Brazil with her boyfriend.

Is this the end for Oscar and Josslyn or will the dying teen find a drug trial closer to home?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
