Claire Fraser is not happy. Photos from the “Outlander” Season 1 finale show Claire (Caitriona Balfe) looking concerned and upset. Many fans of Starz's time travel drama probably have the same expression, knowing that Jamie (Sam Heughan) is still in Black Jack Randall’s (Tobias Menzies) grasp. However, Claire appears to be planning a way to save her husband.

One of the photos shows Claire with some monks. Fans of Diana Gabaldon’s books know that a monastery is essential to the ending of the first “Outlander” novel. It’ll play a big role after Jamie’s escape, which Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) started planning at the end of episode 15. However, as previously reported, the location of the last scenes of “Outlander” Season 1 have changed from the book. Though the monastery was located in France in the novel, it seems like that could change for the TV show.

The images give viewers a good glimpse of the men who will help Claire and Murtagh save Jamie. Angus (Stephen Walters), Rupert (Grant O'Rourke) and Willie (Finn Den Hertog) appear to be planning the rescue mission. Don’t worry, the escape plan will work out, but saving Jamie from Black Jack doesn’t mean that he’ll be okay.

Menzies made it clear that his Black Jack’s torture of Jamie will be absolutely brutal, and Jamie will leave with physical and emotional scars. “Jack, I would argue, is a study in sadism,” Menzies told E! News. “He's interested in people's boundaries, their pain thresholds, what they can handle. It's a rather sickening investigation.”

Unfortunately, Jamie is missing from all of the above photos. He is in the promo video, but he isn’t doing well. Watch the promo for the “Outlander” Season 1 finale below:
