“Outlander” star Sam Heughan is trying to help fans stay healthy while self-isolating. The actor shared an interesting alternative method of weight lifting while avoiding the gym.

On Instagram, Heughan posted a sweaty, shirtless photo of himself carrying a huge stone. “No access to weights, I found a suitable rock. If trying this, please be careful!” the Jamie Fraser actor wrote.

He titled this The Rock Workout before cheekily clarifying that he did not mean Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The "Bloodshot" star included instructions for exercises and ended his caption with, “(Please excuse the nipples).”

“Batwoman” star Ruby Rose commented on the photo that she isn’t exactly keeping up with Heughan’s 30-day workout challenge. “I’m just gaining the weight of that rock per week... same thing?”

Heughan jokingly replied, “I could lift you instead?”

As previously reported, Heughan’s My Peak Challenge launched a free 30-day social distancing workout challenge earlier this month. Followers get a new video each day with a workout routine they can follow at home.

Though the 30-day program is free, My Peak Challenge typically requires a fee for a one-year program. Half of that cost is donated to charity. Heughan recently encouraged fans to donate directly to an MPC-supported nonprofit, Marie Curie UK.

“At this time of national emergency, Marie Curie Nurses and frontline staff are needed more than ever as the NHS is put under ever greater strain. But their fundraising activities are grinding to a halt and they’re facing a devastating loss of funds,” Heughan explained in a post. “They urgently need you to donate to our emergency appeal today. I will personally be donating and if you can spare even a small amount, it’ll make a huge difference.”

Heughan fans can watch him in "Outlander" Season 5, which is still airing Sundays on Starz.
