Jessica Lowndes and Wes Brown reunite onscreen in Hallmark Channel’s first Fall Harvest premiere of 2019, “Over the Moon in Love.”

Airing tonight, the film is the first Hallmark movie starring Lowndes and Brown together, but it’s not the first time the actors have ever worked together. Some viewers might remember seeing the duo back in 2012 when they worked together closely on The CW’s “90210” for a few episodes.

Lowndes joined the Hallmark family a few years later with “Merry Matrimony” in 2015, while Brown had entered the world of Hallmark back in 2011 with “Love Begins.”

Now, they’re reuniting for Hallmark’s brand-new Fall Harvest movie, which also happens to feature music, just like “90210” did, as Lowndes’ character, Adrianna, was a singer and Brown’s character was a club promoter always looking for new talent in the show.

As for the movie, here’s what else fans can expect:

“High school friends, cute Brooklyn (Lowndes) and nerdy Devin (Brown) are plutonic yet connected by romance. She can instinctively pair classmates into lasting relationships but can’t find love herself,” according to the synopsis. “He can write love songs but can’t complete one particular ballad, believing the missing lyrics can only be found with true love. Flash forward 12 years, and Brooklyn is a professional matchmaker with her own business, Over the Moon in Love, while Devin is a singer-songwriter, playing weddings and musical gigs. Both have remained single and while Brooklyn is still a beauty, Devin has turned into a handsome hunk.

“Instantly reconnecting over burgers at their favorite food truck, the two certainly have chemistry. While it’s clear Devin longs to turn their friendship into romance, Brooklyn is focused on landing the cover of Life/Style by finding the magazine’s attractive lead writer a love match. Putting her 100% success rate on the line, Brooklyn asks Devin to take the woman out and from the get-go it’s obvious they have nothing in common. Determined to make the match work, Brooklyn feeds the woman lines that will surely capture Devin’s heart, and it works! Too bad Brooklyn has suddenly realized Devin is her true love. Blurting out that the match she created is a sham, Brooklyn now risks losing the magazine cover, and more importantly Devin, the man she’s been over-the-moon-in-love with all along.”

Not only does Lowndes star in “Over the Moon in Love,” but she’s also an executive producer on it, wrote the screenplay and co-wrote the songs that the characters sing in the film. Plus, it was directed by Lowndes’ friend and longtime Hallmark director, Christie Will Wolf.

The Hallmark movie also stars Miranda Frigon (Stephanie Carlton), Naika Toussaint (Mia), Rachel Hayward (Charlotte Moore), Peter Graham-Gaudreau (John Moore), Mark Brandon (Douglas Carlton), Matthew Kevin Anderson (Matt), Jocelyn Panton (Angelica), Stephi Chin-Salvo (Farrah) and Loretta Walsh (Heather)

Catch “Over the Moon in Love” on Saturday at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
