  • A dead character may return in “Ozark” Season 4

  • Jason Bateman and the others are hoping the show gets picked up for another season

  • Chris Mundy and his team are working on Season 4

“Ozark” Season 4 may continue the story of the Byrde family with new twists and turns. According to a new theory, one of the surprises on the show could be the return of a character who was presumed to be dead.

The following article contains spoilers from “Ozark” Season 3.

Wendy’s (Laura Linney) brother Ben Davis (Tom Pelphrey) was a major new character who was added in Season 3. His significance was teased when people set him up as a major character when others referred to him in the previous season. However, the character was killed off, despite Wendy’s best efforts to save him.

Ben was not only an important character for the show, but the fans also loved him. According to a theory by Screen Rant, there is a chance that the character will return, even though the TV series showed Marty (Jason Bateman) cremating the body.

One way the show can bring Ben back in “Ozark” Season 4 is by saying that the body Marty cremated was not of Wendy’s brother. The body was wrapped in a blanket when Bateman’s character took it, and that leaves the door open to say that the body was of someone else.

So far, there has been no confirmation about the show being renewed. In a previous interview with Collider, Bateman pointed out that it is Netflix policy to wait for a few weeks after a show premieres to collect the data and make a decision about its future. The cast and crew of the show, according to Bateman, are working with the hope that they will get a chance to tell a few more stories on the show.

When asked about the future of the TV series and when it will end, Bateman said that he leaves such decisions to the producers. His only concern is to deliver the best performance on the set. The actor also added that executive producer Chris Mundy and his team are currently working hard on Season 4.

While the cast and crew are waiting for the “Ozark” Season 4 announcement, they are all keeping themselves busy. Bateman was recently spotted going out for a jog in Los Angeles, Just Jared reported.
