Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin might not want to appear on “True Blood,” but it doesn’t mean her stint on television is done. She has launched her own channel. Meanwhile, Twitter users have satirized the new station with memes and 140-character quips with the hashtag #PalinTVShows.

Palin has dabbled in onscreen ventures in the past as a Fox News contributor and even as a reality star. But by launching the subscription-only Sarah Palin Channel, Palin has given her naysayers an opportunity to poke plenty of fun at her.

“This is a community where we’ll be able to share ideas and discuss the issues of the day,” the politician turned television personality said in her introduction to the new show, according to Bustle. “And we’re gonna find solutions. Are you tired of the media filters? I am. I always have been. So we’re gonna do something about it."

Twitter users also wanted to do something about it, making #PalinTVShows one of the most popular trending topics on the mini-blog Monday. Hundreds of users flooded the social media site with digs at Palin, with some picking apart her ideology and others offering stabs at her personal life.
