A new 60-second TV spot for “Wonder Woman 1984” was released during the virtual edition of Brazil’s CCXP on Sunday. The clip is a follow-up to the first wave of press reactions on social media that universally praised the movie for its storytelling and emotions.

Patty Jenkins shared the footage on her official Twitter account and noted that she is so “excited” to share the movie with the world.

The new video brings a more emotional tone to the superhero flick by showing some endearing shots of Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. The trailer also continues to highlight how the titular character is a beacon of hope for people who are being terrorized by evil forces.

The clip starts with Diana’s mother Hippolyta telling her that everything will be different once she becomes what she intends to be. Her mother reiterates that the world is not yet ready to see who she is and what she can do.

“Diana, one day you’ll become all that you dream of and more. And everything will be different. This world is not yet ready for all that you do. You’ll become a legend,” the voiceover says in the new TV spot.

The clip is also packed with action sequences and new moments from the upcoming movie, but it is entirely built on providing hope to the people who are living in such tumultuous times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Gadot, who plays the titular character in the film, also shared the clip on social media and said that the movie brings an important message to the entire world.

“It’s the final countdown! Happy to share the newest trailer for #WW84! This Christmas you will finally get to see our movie & the important message it brings. These days, more than ever, we all share in the wonder,” Gadot wrote on Twitter.

The new footage comes a few days after Warner Bros. announced that it’ll be releasing its entire 2021 film slate on both HBO Max and in theaters. The unprecedented move of releasing the movies simultaneously started with WB announcing that it will be releasing the upcoming movie, “Wonder Woman 1984,” in cinemas and on HBO Max.

Apart from “WW 84,” other movies that will be released simultaneously on the big screen and HBO Max include much-awaited projects like “Dune,” “The Suicide Squad,” “The Matrix 4,” “Godzilla vs. Kong,” “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” and more.

“Wonder Woman 1984,” which also stars Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig in pivotal roles, is scheduled to release on Christmas Day.
