Mitt Romney Gets Another Big Endorsement: Paul Ryan
House budget chair Paul Ryan endorsed Mitt Romney Friday morning, making him one of the most high-profile Republicans to back the former Massachusetts governor for the GOP nomination. Reuters

A Twitter account that combines the political views of Republican vice presidential hopeful Paul Ryan and the swagger of actor Ryan Gosling, @PaulRyanGosling, is taking the micro-blogging site by storm.

The parody Twitter account has gained more than 22,000 followers since it was created Saturday, when presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney tapped the Wisconsin congressman as his running mate. The account describes itself as "The better Paul Ryan."

The account is only following one other Twitter user, Ryan Gosling.

All of the tweets from @PaulRyanGosling so far begin with, "Hey Girl," and then either some version of a pickup line akin to the things Gosling's suave character might have said in the comedy "Crazy, Stupid Love" or a tidbit of Ryan's conservative views.

Among the tweets sent out by @PaulRyanGosling:

"Hey girl, help me roll up the sleeves on my $200 dress shirt so I can listen to poor people's problems."

"Hey girl, my 'Roadmap for America's Future' includes lots of sexy detours into your bedroom." (That tweet references Ryan's controversial budget plan, which would cut government spending while eliminating tax loopholes.)

"Hey girl, you can pay for your own birth control. I believe in you."

"Hey girl, I hope you're middle class because I'm totally ready to screw you."

"Hey girl, I don't believe women should have a choice. Except when it comes to which Nicholas Sparks book they want me to recite."

"Hey girl, the only thing that gets me hot is the tax code. So that French maid's outfit is just embarrassing."

"Hey girl, I know I'm only 42, but my ideas on women's rights are over 500 years old."

"Hey girl, I may be conservative in my policies, but I'll always be liberal with my butterfly kisses."

Since he was announced as Romney's vice presidential pick, the public has been deluged with tidbits about Ryan's personal life, including his devotion to the fitness routine P90X and his love of Led Zeppelin.
