President Donald Trump still has 74 days in office before President-elect Joe Biden begins his term and moves into the White House with his wife, First Lady Jill Biden and their German Shepards.

For the last 120 years, until 2016, there were always First Pets in the White House. When President Trump entered into his presidency, he changed that.

He explained at a rally, “I wouldn’t mind having one, honestly, but I don’t have any time. How would I look walking a dog on the White House lawn?,” the Washington Post reported.

Trump also said that it seemed quite phony to him to have a pet.

This will all go down the drain once President-elect Biden enters the White House. Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris doesn’t own a dog, but is very pro-dog in the House, Vouge says.

Biden’s German Shepard’s names are Major and Champ. The Biden family has had Champ since 2008, and they adopted Major in 2018 after fostering him. Champ is no stranger to the White House, but this will be Major’s first time in his new home.

Users on Twitter are not only excited about the 2020 presidential election results, but they’re excited to see Major and Champ running around the grounds of the House.

It’s also said that Major will be the first rescue dog living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. The Biden’s adopted him from the Delaware Humane Society.

President Trump has filed many lawsuits pertaining to unlawful ballots that were counted, but if Trump loses these lawsuits, President-elect Biden will take office on inauguration day, Jan. 20, 2021.
