Ford’s (F) Bronco 4x4 was captured completely without camouflage, giving some indication of what is to come with the launch of the SUV. Ford has been notoriously quiet about the launch of the Bronco, which is expected to come later this month.

A user of Bronco6G Forum caught the Bronco 4x4 in photos that have since been removed from the website. It is unknown if Ford requested the removal of the photos, which are now circulating on social media.

In the images, the Bronco can be seen from the rear. These rear-view images show the 4x4 without a top on and also seen is the rear-mounted spare tire, which could mean that a horizontal swinging tailgate is also coming, Autoweek suggested.

The two images may be of different vehicles as it appears that one is a two-door, and the other is a four-door model. But it is unclear from the angle of the photos exactly what the full appearance of the Bronco will be.

However, from the images, which show the Bronco in a black paint color, the SUV reportedly looks to have a device that could suggest it is reportedly undergoing emissions testing.

It is known that Ford will be launching two versions of the Bronco – a full-size SUV and a smaller Sport model. The 4x4 is expected to be offered with a manual transmission, which may have seven speeds paired with a Ford 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder inline engine or a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 powertrain.

It has been speculated that Ford will launch the full-size Bronco in March and the Bronco Sport in April at the New York Auto Show. Ford has said the Bronco will launch in spring but has not given an exact date as of yet.

Shares of Ford stock were down 4.08% as of 3:31 p.m. EST on Friday.
