If you're Pier 1 Imports lover who happened to purchase a set of bistro chairs from the retailer, you should take a good look at your furniture.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Thursday that Pier 1 Imports recalled thousands of sets of Bistro chairs due to their potential instability. The bolts and/or nuts on the company’s Neely and Dahlia Bistro chairs — where the legs connect to the chairs’ base — have a tendency to loosen, making the chairs potentially hazardous to consumers, according to a news release.

About 13,300 sets of the chairs, as well as 700 individual makes of the chairs, were recalled in the U.S. More than 700 sets and 40 individual chairs sold in Canada were included in the recalled product, too.

The company has received six reports from shoppers, to date, of chair legs loosening or collapsing altogether. Four injuries, mostly bruises and scrapes, were reported due to falls.

The chairs recalled were sold in stores and online from January 2013 through July 2016.

While the chairs cost anywhere between $100 and $380, Pier 1 Imports stated that the chairs could be fixed by owners. There was no word of full refunds for buyers. Owners were urged to cease using the chairs and to contact the company to receive a repair kit for free. To claim a kit, buyers can call the company Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST on Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST on Sundays.

The recalled chairs were both available for purchase in sets or individually and were designed from a coated, cast aluminum and available in eight colors. For chairs that came in a set, only the chairs were the products affected.
