Porn star Abella Danger has issued an apology to her fans after she and former adult entertainment star Mia Khalifa engaged in a war of words on Twitter over the latter's experience in the industry.

Danger, 24, posted a video on Twitter apologizing to "everyone that had to see [her] speak in such a negative way" on a public platform. However, the porn performer also clarified that she does not regret what she said.

"I’m woman enough to admit to my wrongdoings,” she said. “But it’s annoying to constantly hear anyone trashing my industry. When literally every single industry has its good and bad."

Danger and Khalifa, 27, exchanged harsh words after the latter described her three months in the porn industry as “toxic.” In a series of messages, Danger called out Khalifa for trashing sex workers and porn stars for "pity and clout" and praised the people she worked with as “some of the most honest, kind, generous human beings" she has ever met.

Khalifa was active in the porn industry for a period of three months in 2014 when she was only 21 and made only 11 films. But the Lebanese-American actress, who has since made a name for herself as a social media influencer and a sports commentator, said these videos will "haunt" her until the day she dies.

She has been detailing her experience in the porn industry in a bid to dissuade young girls from joining it.

In addition to speaking up about the negative impact of making X-rated videos on her mental health, Khalifa also revealed that she did not earn much despite being one of Pornhub’s most popular stars at the time. Khalifa reportedly made only £9,600 ($12,000) for her videos.

Reacting to this, Danger said it was Khalifa’s fault that she did not make more money than what she got. She tweeted, “We choose our rates babe.”

Khalifa then clarified that while she was not against sex work, she was “against the unethical treatment of MOST sex workers.”

In her recent tweets, Khalifa detailed her harrowing experience with porn company Bang Bros, revealing she was once made to feel “cheap and used, powerless and demeaned” during a photoshoot with someone she was told was a “Vogue photographer.”
