The top after-market NASDAQ Stock Market gainers Thursday are: MoSys, Pacific Biosciences of California, Career Education, Thoratec, and Royal Gold. The top after-market NASDAQ Stock Market losers are: Primo Water, DexCom, SIGA Technologies, Xyratex, and Northern Technologies International.

Gainers

MoSys, Inc. (MOSY) stock jumped 18.86 percent to $3.53 in after-market trading. MoSys and Invensas Corp., a subsidiary of Tessera Technologies Inc. (TSRA), announced that they entered into a patent purchase agreement. Under the agreement, Invensas buys 43 United States and 30 foreign memory technology patents from MoSys for $35 million in cash. MoSys retained a royalty-free license to the patents to cover its Bandwidth Engine product line and technology partners, along with related rights to offer sub-licenses to current and future partners.

Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc. (PACB) stock gained 3.01 percent to $2.74 in after-market trading.

Career Education Corp. (CECO) stock increased 2.13 percent to $7.82 in after-market trading.

Thoratec Corp. (THOR) stock gained 1.98 percent to $33.58 in after-market trading.

Royal Gold, Inc. (RGLD) stock increased 1.96 percent to $66.96 in after-market trading.

Losers

Primo Water Corp. (PRMW) stock fell 10.83 percent to $2.80 in after-market trading.

DexCom, Inc. (DXCM) stock tumbled 9.15 percent to $8.54 in after-market trading.

SIGA Technologies Inc. (SIGA) stock slid 8.30 percent to $2.10 in after-market trading.

Xyratex Ltd. (XRTX) stock declined 6.67 percent to $12.17 in after-market trading.

Northern Technologies International Corp. (NTIC) stock decreased 5.79 percent to $12.05 in after-market trading.
