Gainers

Netlist Inc. (NLST) stock jumped 39.57 percent to $3.28 in the pre-market trading. The company said it signed two memory technology collaboration agreement with International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) and Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ) to use its product HyperCloud technology with IBM's and HP's servers.T he agreement with IBM is non-exclusive, while the agreement with HP is exclusive for a period of time. There can be no assurance that the efforts undertaken under the agreement will result in any new revenues for the company, Netlist said in a filing with Securities and Exchange Commission.

IBM and Netlist have agreed to cooperate with respect to the qualification of HyperCloud technology for use with IBM servers and to engage in certain joint marketing efforts if qualification is achieved. HP and Netlist agreed to collaborate on the future use of HyperCloud load reduction and rank multiplication technologies for next generation server memory for HP. Both IBM and HP have agreed to commit resources and funds in support of the activities.

ChinaCast Education Corp. (CAST) stock climbed 17.78 percent to $4.57 in the pre-market trading. The company said its board of directors has formed a special committee of independent directors to consider all strategic alternatives which would enhance shareholder value after receiving an unsolicited bid for the company made by a qualified institutional investor at a significant premium to the current market price of the company's common stock. The company said the special committee may retain independent advisors, including an independent financial advisor and legal counsel, to assist it in its work.

Siliconware Precision Industries Co. Ltd. (SPIL) stock moved up 0.36 percent to $4.7873 in the pre-market trading.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) stock moved up 0.20 percent to $380 in the pre-market trading.

Makita Corp. (MKTAY) stock moved up 0.09 percent to $35.2809 in the pre-market trading.

Losers

Cadence Pharmaceuticals Inc. (CADX) stock fell 7.05 percent to $3.69 in the pre-market trading. Brokerage firm Collins Stewart initiated coverage of Cadence stock with a buy rating.

Activision Blizzard, Inc. (ATVI) stock slid 5.08 percent to $12.15 in the pre-market trading.

Aixtron SE (AIXG) stock declined 4.68 percent to $13.24 in the pre-market trading.

Urban Outfitters Inc. (URBN) stock decreased 4.58 percent to $25.60 in the pre-market trading. Profit for the third quarter was $50.7 million or $0.33 per share, down from $73.1 million or $0.43 per share last year. Sales rose 6 percent to $609.95 million. Analysts had expected profit of $0.32 per share on revenue of $626.43 million. Comparable retail segment sales, which include the direct-to-consumer channels, decreased 3 percent for the quarter, while comparable store sales fell 7 percent.

Logitech International SA (LOGI) stock decliend 3.53 percent to $7.93 in the pre-market trading.
