Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad advised Donald Trump to resign and some Twitter users want the same.

Mohamad spoke to reporters at the Third Conference of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds when he was asked for any advice for the U.S. president after he was being acquitted from impeachment. The prime minister kept his reply short and said, “resign,” New Straits Times first reported. In a dialogue with French firms on Monday, the politician said the same thing.

“Americans are nice people but not President Trump,” he said. “I asked him to resign to save America.”

Several Twitter users are also calling for the same thing.

@realDonaldTrump -People only want you to say two words tonight: I resign,” Scott Dworkin, co-founder of Democratic Coalition, wrote on Twitter.

“You are a national disgrace and should resign yesterday,” @Autarkh opined.

“Says the #ImpeachedPresident who has called law enforcement DIRTY COPS with reckless abandon. You are a danger to national security. You're also demented. Resign. #VoteBlueToEndThisNightmare #VOTEBLUEToEndGOPTerrorism,” @lesleyabravanel added.

Another online user accused Trump of lying, asked him to resign and even called the POTUS “paranoid and pathetic.” “PEOPLE ARE SICK OF YOU PLAYING A VICTIM AND SPREADING FALSE INFORMATION SAD!!” @MarySno07278252 added.

Despite the backlash Trump received many are still in support of him. One netizen questioned the Malaysian prime minister’s advise for Trump to resign. Several online users also said that Trump is the best president the country has ever had.

“Mahathir, Who are you to call for Trump to resign, after all you are a temporary back door PM of a very poor country with a very tiny economy. @realDonaldTrump is first class world leader of a number one economy in the world,” @GEanalyst wrote.

Meanwhile, Trump has been warned about his health. According to Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the POTUS should increase his dose of cholesterol lowering medicine and change his lifestyle because without these changes he is at risk of having a heart attack in the next three to five years.
