Prince Charles is a doting and great father to Prince William in this rare and wonderful video.

An old clip of the heir apparent and Duke of Cambridge has resurfaced on Instagram. In the video, one can see the strong relationship between the two as they play and tease each other.

Royal fans who saw the video couldn’t help but praise their bond. Many of them found the clip “wonderful.” Some commented and described Prince Charles a “kind man.” Another pointed out the Prince of Wales’ contribution in rearing Prince William and Prince Harry.

“I so dislike when people give credit only to Diana for the boys' growing up to be fine adults ( hmmm...ok, ine of them at least) forgetting that Charles had an important role in their formative years as teenagers and young adults,” one royal fan wrote.

“You can see the findness between William and his dad which is also mirrored in how Charles acts around the young Cambridges and them around him.”

“Wonderful, clearly the boys dote on him,” a different fan wrote.

Royal fans noticed how Prince Charles and Prince William were stepping up for their future role transitions. At present the Duke of Cambridge is becoming more involved in the Duchy of Cornwall estate. Meanwhile, the heir apparent is taking on more engagements on behalf of the Queen.

Prince Charles just spoke up on how he feels about Prince William taking over his role in the Duchy of Cornwall estate. The future king said that he couldn’t believe it was already 50 years. He added that it felt like he was confronting his own mortality but deemed it a very good thing. He was also deeply touched and moved by what Prince William said as he prepared for the role.

Kate Middleton’s husband admitted that his knowledge about farming is not as great as his father. However, he assured the farmers that he will not rock the boat and will “do much the same as what my father’s doing.”
