Prince Charles snubbed Prince Harry but praised Prince William in his speech.

The Prince of Wales is a popular environmentalist. The future king has been campaigning for the environment for years and he has shared this passion with his two sons Prince William and Prince Harry. The Duke of Sussex and Duke of Cambridge also campaign for the environment, but the heir apparent only mentioned the latter in his powerful speech recently.

“For my part, I have made Sustainable Markets my priority for 2020 and actually beyond – for however long it takes. I have instructed my teams and my organisations similarly to align with this effort – and I expect them to contribute. With the stakes this high, I would challenge you to do the same,” Prince Charles said.

“And, critically, we must foster innovation - and here, if you will allow me, I would like to acknowledge the new Earthshot initiative of my son, The Duke of Cambridge, which seems to me to extol the sort of horizon-lifting approach we need in order to give us hope,” he continued.

There are rumors that Prince Charles is upset with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex following their decision to quit as senior members of the royal family. An insider told Daily Mail that he was “deeply hurt” because it was him who pushed his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, to give Prince Harry and Markle a church wedding. Prince Charles and his second wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, didn’t have a church wedding because both of them were divorcees like Markle.

Prince Charles is also very fond of Markle. In fact, he has a nickname for the duchess. Prince Charles reportedly calls the former “Suits” star “Tungsten” because she is “tough and unbending.”

Markle’s father Thomas Markle Sr. confessed that he was jealous of Prince Charles. Thomas said that he wished he was there on her big day, but he didn’t make it because he was still recovering from the heart surgery he had days before the Sussexes’ wedding day. And so he only watched the ceremony on TV at a safe house.
