Prince William and Kate Middleton are very close to Zara and Mike Tindall.

A few weeks back, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. They were with the Tindalls. The closeness of the two families was visible on the said outing.

Prince William had his goddaughter Mia Tindall on his shoulders. On the other hand, Prince George perched on Mike’s shoulder. Middleton was also photographed giving her daughter Princess Charlotte a piggyback ride.

One of the things that were not seen on the said outing was Prince George’s moment with aunt Zara. One netizen shared photos of Prince George and Zara doing high-five on Twitter. Another shot showed the two royals hugging each other.

There is no doubt that Prince George is very close to the Tindalls. His connection to aunt Zara was undeniable when he hugged her back.

“Zara's family and Cambridges family. A big friendship,” one netizen commented in the photos.

Mike revealed earlier that he wanted the young royals to be close to each other. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Mia Tindall are all forming friendship and he hoped that this will continue.

“It’s great” that a new generation of young royals are springing up, he told Hello! “They’re all quite close in age and hopefully they’ll grow up as good friends.”

Middleton and Zara’s youngest kids Prince Louis and Lena are close in age. Meanwhile, Mia is between Princess Charlotte and Prince George’s age. Due to their close age, they can easily relate to each other and enjoy fun time together.

Earlier this year, Zara and Mike held their daughter Lena’s christening. Queen Elizabeth II was seen at the event. Her Majesty was photographed braving the weather sans Prince Philip.

Many were wondering why Queen Elizabeth II attended the event when she skipped the christening of Prince William and Middleton’s son Prince Louis. However, an insider said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were aware of the monarch’s decision and were reportedly “relaxed.”

Middleton and Prince William weren’t seen at the event. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in attendance for the low-key ceremony in Gloucestershire. The Duke of Sussex was among the chosen godfathers.
