Prince Harry is back in the U.K. for a special event. The Duke of Sussex has arrived in his home country for the unveiling of the statue of Princess Diana, multiple outlets have confirmed.

Prince Harry is set to attend the statue unveiling at Kensington Palace on July 1, on what would have been her 60th birthday, with his older brother Prince William, People reported. The 36-year-old royal arrived in England sans his wife Meghan Markle and their children, 2-year-old son Archie and daughter Lili, whom they welcomed on June 4.

Prince Harry is now at his Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor, Entertainment Tonight reported, citing an unnamed source. The outlet earlier reported that the duke will be following all COVID-19 requirements upon his arrival in the U.K.

"Prince Harry will land in the U.K. and isolate for five days before taking a COVID test affirming that he is negative before the events of the day," another anonymous insider told the outlet Wednesday.

His cousin Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank and their 4-month-old son August "have been living in Frogmore Cottage but will remain separated from Harry with everyone observing COVID protocols until Harry has been tested," the source told ET.

Prince Harry also stayed in Frogmore Cottage when he returned to the U.K. for Prince Philip's funeral in April.

Royal reporter Richard Palmer tweeted that Prince Harry landed at London's Heathrow Airport Friday and headed to his U.K. home.

Some Twitter users appeared unhappy over Prince Harry's return. "As if his arrival is that important. A prodigal son made it back for a family event. 2nd one in 2 yrs. Other one was a funeral. Couldn't have been bothered to see his grandfather in the last year of his life," one commented.

"Let’s hope this is the last time Britain has to endure him on our shores," another wrote.

"Big Deal Richard. Who cares about that elder bully Harry. Hope you reporters will report on the unveiling and not focus on Harry. He is only appearing at this event just to be relevant and linked. HMQE2 and HRH Prince Charles not attending says alot. He totally bullied them," a third netizen added.

But other Twitter users welcomed Prince Harry back to his home country and sympathized with the duke following his recent revelations about his mental health struggles.

"I feel the pain this young man has endured. Losing his momma at a young age, losing his family since his marriage. Mental health is no joke, and I think he is like any other human that would do anything a spouse wants to keep it a healthy relationship. Be easy on him," one wrote.

"Good for him. Let's celebrate Diana FINALLY!" a fan who is happy with his arrival added.

"I am glad he is here," a third netizen commented.

Prince Harry and Prince William released a joint statement last year on the unveiling of the statue, which they commissioned in 2017.

"The statue will be installed in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace on 1st July 2021, marking The Princess’s 60th birthday," their announcement read. "The Princes hope that the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on their mother’s life and her legacy."

Aside from the brothers, the late Princess of Wales' close family, members of the statue committee, sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley and garden designer Pip Morrison will also be present at the event, according to a statement from Kensington Palace.
