Just before his departure from his position within the British royal family, Prince Harry is taking on one of his final duties as a senior member. This gig comes in the form of Prince Harry apparently dipping his toes into music with rock 'n' roll icon Jon Bon Jovi -- and he’s doing it in the name of a charity.

TMZ shared a teaser of the two men in the studio, about to sing in front of the microphone. In the footage, Bon Jovi, an 80s hair metal legend, holds an acoustic guitar and stands next to Harry, who is visibly nervous. The rocker preps Harry and the video ends just at the inhale.

The two of them met up in London on Friday at the legendary Abbey Road Studios to record a new iteration of Bon Jovi’s hit “Unbroken.” They were joined by a choir named after the Invictus Games, the charity foundation the song is in support of.

The Invictus Games was set up by Prince Harry in support of wounded vets. The idea of the organization is to get veterans involved with activities, despite their injuries or illness. The Duke of Sussex was inspired to create the foundation when he attended the U.S. Warrior Games in 2013, according to the Invictus Games website. One year later, Prince Harry’s Invictus Games were born.

“The word ‘Invictus’ means ‘unconquered,’” the website reads. “It embodies the fighting spirit of wounded, injured and sick Service personnel and personifies what these tenacious men and women can achieve post-injury.”

Bon Jovi’s song is written about and dedicated to those war vets who live with PTSD. When the track is released in March, proceeds will go to the Invictus Games Foundation. The original version of the track will be available to listen to when Bon Jovi’s new album “Bon Jovi: 2020” comes out on May 15.
