Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have vowed to give their firstborn a normal life as possible.

Carly Read, a journalist for Express, spoke to an insider that said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will bring up their children to know the values of normal things in life. Markle, in particular, wants to ensure that her children won’t grow up to be spoiled. She also plans on making them ride the subway and the tube.

Omid Scobie, a royal correspondent, said that Prince Harry and Markle will be changing the royal parenting rules.

“Meghan will take her kids on a subway. They’ll have chores and jobs one day. They won’t be spoiled,” he said.

The report came just weeks after it was revealed that Prince Harry and Markle won’t seek a royal title for their children so that they could lead normal lives. If the royal couple will welcome a boy, he will be most likely known as the Earl of Dumbarton. If they will have a baby girl, she will be known as Lady Mountbatten-Windsor.

And since Prince Harry is not in direct succession to the throne, his children won’t be full-time royals. The prince and Markle’s kids will live similar lives with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

Since Prince Andrew is the third child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, he is also not in direct succession to the throne. His daughters are not considered working royals, but they are actively involved in the causes that are close to their hearts.

Princess Anne, the second child of the Queen and Prince Philip, opted to not give her children royal titles. Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips are only referred to as such. According to Tindall, not having a royal title is actually a blessing in disguise.

“I’m very lucky that both my parents decided to not use the title and we grew up and did all the things that gave us the opportunity to do so,” she told People.
