Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are being criticized for their decision to spend the holidays in the United States away from Queen Elizabeth II.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fans are blaming Markle for encouraging her husband to celebrate Christmas away from his grandmother. They said that Her Majesty and Prince Philip are already 93 and 98 years old, respectively, and they won’t have many Christmases to celebrate. As such, it would be best if Prince Harry celebrates Christmas in the United Kingdom.

Deanna Eppers, an ardent follower of the royal family, said that the Duke of Sussex needs to stand up to his wife so that Markle will stop bossing him around. If the Duchess of Sussex wants to celebrate Christmas with her mom, Doria Ragland, Prince Harry should be able to celebrate the occasion with his family.

The royal fan also dubbed the “Suits” alum as a royal pain because of her outrageous demands.

“I am completely flabbergasted and upset that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be here in the States for Christmas. This is so wrong of them. Of him! Harry needs to act like a member of this royal family that feeds, clothes, loves, and supports him,” Eppers said.

The royal fan also said that Prince Harry and Markle’s trip to the U.S. for the holidays cannot be likened to Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrating Christmas with the Duchess of Cambridge’s family. After all, the Middletons are also in the United Kingdom.

At the end of the day, Eppers is confident that Markle cannot thrive in the United Kingdom. And Prince Harry is wrong to think that he married the reincarnation of his late mom, Princess Diana.

“Of course, if Meghan is so depressed that she needs to be near her mom, that makes sense. Though Doria can fly too. She could be in the UK in twelve hours. If Harry is so mental that he is depressed and on the verge of a breakdown, he should seek help," the netizen commented.
