Prince Harry reunited with his cousin Princess Eugenie at Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles Sunday.

The two royals were wearing black face masks when they were seen sitting next to each other in a private suite at SoFi Stadium. Princess Eugenie also sported a blue cap.

Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, was not in attendance at the game, an unnamed source told Page Six.

The event marked the Duke of Sussex's first Super Bowl. It is not clear whether Prince Harry was cheering for the Los Angeles Rams or the Cincinnati Bengals, but Markle was born and raised in Los Angeles, People noted.

NFL U.K. shared a photo of Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry from the event on Twitter.

Princess Eugenie flew to California from Windsor, England. She lives in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's U.K. residence, Frogmore Cottage, with husband Jack Brooksbank and their 1-year-old son, August.

Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie share a close bond.

Following the birth of Markle and Prince Harry's daughter Lilibet last year, Princess Eugenie wrote a heartfelt message to the proud parents. "Congratulations dear cousins, we couldn't be happier for you all," the princess shared on her Instagram Story under a black-and-white photo of the couple.

The biography "Finding Freedom," by authors Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie, also detailed the royal cousins' unique closeness.

"Eugenie had always been more than just a cousin to Harry. They were also the closest of friends," the biographers wrote, according to People. "Out of all the Queen's grandchildren, Harry and Eugenie have one of the most natural connections. Like Harry, Eugenie is loyal, honest and great fun. The two had many nights out together in London."

The authors added, "Harry had always confided in his cousin when it came to the women in his life. Not only did he trust her implicitly, but friends say that she gives great advice and has always been 'beyond wise' for her years."

Markle is also friends with Princess Eugenie. According to the former "Suits" star, she knew the princess before she met her husband.

"Eugenie and I had known each other before I had known Harry, so that was comfortable," Markle told Oprah Winfrey during their March 2021 interview, as quoted by People. "We're friends with them as a couple."

During her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last year, Markle told host Ellen DeGeneres that she, Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank enjoyed a fun Halloween in 2016 before her romance with Prince William's younger brother was made public.

According to the former actress, they went incognito by wearing "very bizarre" costumes so that no one would recognize them.

"The four of us snuck out in Halloween costumes to just have one fun night on the town before it was out in the world that we were a couple," Markle said. "We were able to just sort of have one final, fun night out."
