Prince Harry has revealed the details of the blowout fight with his wife, Meghan Markle, that led him to seek therapy in his upcoming book, "Spare."

The Duke of Sussex wrote in his memoir that he "snapped" at his wife and "became touchy" during a conversation that "took an unexpected turn," Us Weekly reported.

"Maybe the wine went to my head. Maybe the weeks of battling the press had worn me down. For some reason, when the conversation took an unexpected turn, I became touchy," he wrote in his memoir. "Then angry. Disproportionately, sloppily angry."

Though he did not specify what his wife said that made him angry, Prince Harry alleged that the former "Suits" star had said something at the time that he "took the wrong way" due to cultural differences and a language barrier.

He admitted that he was "over-sensitive that night" and spoke "harshly [and] cruelly" to Markle.

"As the words left my mouth, I could feel everything in the room come to a stop. The gravy stopped bubbling, the molecules of air stopped orbiting. Even Nina Simone seemed to pause," he recalled.

Prince Harry remembered Markle walking out of the room and staying away from him for a "full 15 minutes." He later found his wife sitting alone in their bedroom, and there they talked about the incident.

She told him straight to his face that she would not "tolerate" that behavior from a partner or co-parent.

"She was calm, but said in a quiet, level tone that she would never stand for being spoken to like that. I nodded. She wanted to know where it came from," Prince Harry wrote. "I don't know. [She asked,] 'Where did you ever hear a man speak like that to a woman? Did you overhear adults speak that way when you were growing up?' I cleared my throat, looked away [and responded], 'Yes.'"

Prince Harry went on to claim, "She wasn't going to raise children in an atmosphere of anger or disrespect. She laid it all out, super-clear."

When he admitted to Markle that he had tried therapy in the past but "never found the right person" to talk to, the duchess encouraged him to "try again."

It wasn't the first time Prince Harry spoke about Markle inspiring his decision to seek therapy.

In Apple TV+'s 2021 mental health docuseries "The Me You Can't See," he shared that he got help as he feared losing his wife.

"It was meeting and being with Meghan, I knew that if I didn't do therapy and fix myself, that I was going to lose this woman who I could see spending the rest of my life with," he said, People reported.
