Prince Harry opened up about his family life in a video call.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very private when it comes to their family, especially with their son Archie. However, the royal wasn’t shy in mentioning his child when he talked about parents’ challenges and fears over their children’s care in a video call with WellChild CEO Colin Dyer and nurse Rachel Gregory.

During the call, Meghan Markle’s husband recognized the efforts of those who work to care for sick children amid the coronavirus outbreak. He commended them for persevering despite the pandemic.

“The resilience and the strength that you guys have is absolutely incredible and you must never ever, ever forget that,” Prince Harry said.

“I can’t even begin to imagine how hard it is for you guys. Having one kid at 11 months old is enough,” he added, referring to his son with Markle.

Prince William’s brother explained that people should focus on spending quality time with their family while quarantining at home and amid the uncertainties of the COVID-19 outbreak. He also reminded everyone to not forget to celebrate the small moments with their loved ones.

“You have got to celebrate those moments when you’re just on the floor rolling around in hysterics, because of something that’s happened. There’s going to be something that you have to deal with [later] and there is no way that you can run away from it. As long as you guys are looking after yourselves and looking after each other that is the best that you can do,” Prince Harry said.

Prince Harry and Markle’s son will be turning 1 next month. However, they won’t be hosting a party because gathering people is strongly discouraged a present. In fact, Kate Middleton also canceled the birthday party she planned for Prince Louis who will be turning 2 on April 23.

The Cambridges reportedly plan to celebrate the event with their immediate family members instead. Prince Harry and Markle will be doing the same.

An insider said that the Duchess of Sussex will be preparing animal-themed cupcakes because Archie loves animals. In fact, the little royal has tons of animal books. The Sussexes won’t have any guests and they will celebrate Archie’s first birthday with just the three of them.
