Prince Harry reportedly thinks that Sarah Ferguson deserves a second chance so he decided to invite her to his royal wedding last year.

The Duchess of York was involved in a huge scandal shortly after she separated from Prince Andrew in 1992. At that time, Ferguson was photographed with another man who was seemingly sucking her toe.

Prince Philip, who saw the controversial photo of his daughter-in-law published on the front page of the newspaper, immediately thought and felt that Ferguson was a disgrace to the royal family. Until today, the Duke of Edinburgh has not forgiven Ferguson.

Following the controversial incident, Queen Elizabeth also distanced herself from the mom of two. Her Majesty wasn’t pleased with the fact that Prince Andrew and Ferguson got a divorce. And the Queen wanted to keep the information a secret, but it is believed that Ferguson leaked the news to the press.

When Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot in 2011, it was evident that Ferguson hasn’t been forgiven by the senior royals. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge didn’t invite Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s mom to their royal wedding even though Prince Andrew was there.

But in a shocking move, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle invited Ferguson when they tied the knot at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. According to a source, the Duke of Sussex is convinced that his aunt deserves a second chance.

Since Prince Harry is not a stranger to all sorts of scandals, he is aware of what it feels like to be disliked by other people.

“He believes that everybody ought to forgive and overlook the previous, and he’s keen to do this. Sadly, other relations don’t agree with Harry simply but,” a publication claimed.

But as of late, it is still unclear whether or not this is really Prince Harry’s stand regarding Ferguson. What is only known is that the Duchess of York to him and Markle for inviting her to their wedding.
