Prince Harry’s lookalike, Rhys Whittock, 35, makes a huge sum of money by impersonating the Duke of Sussex.

The Kent native is exactly the same height as Prince Harry and nearly the same age as Meghan Markle’s husband. Some events have made it possible for him to earn over $1,200 per hour.

Whittock revealed that his family and friends have told him that he looks like Prince Harry years ago, but he only took it seriously after Prince Harry got engaged to Markle in November 2017.

And since the real Prince Harry had a busy year starting with his royal wedding, a slew of engagements, and more, Whittock also had an eventful 2018.

“Since March, I’ve been on the side of a London bus, flown to Hong Kong to play Harry at a millionaire businessman’s birthday party, and been on live TV. It’s surreal,” he told Daily Mail.

Whittock said that he is aware of other impersonators that do not really look like their real counterparts. But he said that he feels he looks more and more like the prince after taking several photos dressed as Prince Harry.

But even though there is only one Prince Harry impersonator that actually looks like the future dad, Whittock said that he has worked with at least six Markle impersonators.

Meanwhile, Whittock has signed up with six agencies in the United Kingdom, United States, Germany, Belgium, and Holland. He said that he tried to contact a few agencies years ago but never received a response. He wanted to try and impersonate Prince Harry while he was still in the Army, but the 34-year-old was expected to keep a low-profile so there was little to no demand to impersonate him.

“But in November last year when they announced the engagement, one of the agents phoned me up and asked me: ‘Do you still look like Prince Harry?’ And I said, ‘I think so,’” he said.

Whittock went to the agency’s office for a meeting, and they placed him in their books. He received a call in March and work hasn’t stopped since then.
