Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Archie, is being raised as a private citizen. In fact, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to not give their 3-month-old bundle of joy a royal title.

According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, the way Archie is being raised by his parents could encourage him to follow in the footsteps of one royal. Even though Archie never had the chance to meet his grandmother, Princess Diana, it seems Archie would also be as down-to-earth as the Princess of Wales.

Archie’s future is the subject of considerable speculation. He does not use the title of Earl of Dumbarton, though as things stand, he would automatically become an HRH when Charles ascends the throne… It is unclear, however, what the plans for Archie’s future are other than the fact that his parents intend to give him as normal a childhood as possible,” Fitzwilliams told Express.

The royal expert went on to say that Archie has the potential to become a role model for the less fortunate because he is biracial and he also has dual nationality. There is also a huge interest surrounding him even though his ranking is not as high as his cousins.

“He is not and will never be in the category of those royals who do not have titles and in whom there is little interest, if only because of whom his parents are,” he said.

Since his birth, Archie had only been seen in public twice. His first outing took place at Windsor Castle after Prince Harry and Markle introduced him to the entire world.

Months later, Markle brought her son to Prince Harry’s charity polo match. At that time, Archie proved to be a mix between both of his parents.

Photos of Archie have also been released after his birth. The first photo was released on Mother’s Day followed by another photo on Father’s Day and then his christening.
