Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, has been dubbed as “Hurricane Meghan” by palace insiders.

Polly Dunbar, a journalist for Daily Mail, said that the Duchess of Sussex has wasted no time in putting her stamp on The Firm. But she has also been ripping up the royal rulebook since joining the British clan in May.

“Determined to do things her way from the moment she bounces out of bed at 5 a.m., she has proved to be less of a breath of fresh air and more of a whirlwind,” the journalist wrote.

Dunbar started her piece by discussing Queen Elizabeth II’s alleged reaction to Markle opting to wear white on her wedding day. Her boldness in choosing the color led to unease among some courtiers.

“Meghan is being told she needs to start dressing less like a Hollywood star and more like a royal,” a source said. However, Markle has never followed suit.

Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Markle sends six to seven texts to palace aides with her ideas and requests.

“She’s an early riser, up at 5 a.m. rain or shine, and it is said palace staff has never experienced anything remotely like Meghan’s formidable work ethic, matched only by the incessant stream of ideas about how to shape her role. Quite aside from her publicized engagements, Meghan has been conducting a series of ‘undercover’ missions to meet the British people, particularly those associated with good causes,” she wrote.

Additionally, Markle reportedly wants to sprinkle stardust on The Firm because some of her closest allies and pals are from Hollywood.

“Under her direction, the old money and even older lineage that traditionally formed part of the Royal Family’s inner circle has been joined by sports stars and A-listers. One look at the royal wedding guest list made it abundantly clear just how much Meghan was transforming the landscape,” the journalist noted.
