Prince Philip is known for his awkward gaffes and rude behavior. Even when he’s performing his royal duties at official engagements, the dad of four has no problem showing this side of himself to the public.

In an unearthed video, the Duke of Edinburgh is posing in front of the camera alongside a handful of RAF veterans in 2015. Queen Elizabeth’s husband seemingly became upset when the photographer who was supposed to take their photo as a group didn’t do so immediately.

The clip shows the photographer directing the men on how to pose and Prince Philip suddenly snaps and curses at him. The retired royal urges the photographer to just take their photo already and then walks out.

In 2010, Prince Philip met a group of cadets and he asked one of them where she worked. The female cadet told the royal that she worked in the club, and Prince Philip asked if she is working at a strip club.

During another occasion, Prince Philip tried to make students laugh with his joke but only one person seemed to get it. When he and the Queen met Malala Yousafzai in the palace, he said that parents send their kids to school because they don’t want them to stay at home. The remark didn’t necessarily make Her Majesty laugh.

And on another occasion, Prince Philip gave a speech where she credited his wife for her tolerance and patience towards him. The statement was supposed to make the Queen happy, but the monarch maintained a serious face.

But even though Prince Philip is known for his gaffes, he has also charmed his way into the hearts of royal fans. During one hilarious outing, the Duke of Edinburgh stood a few feet away from a female reporter who was saying her spiel in front of the cameras.

After she gave her spiel, she noticed that Prince Philip was standing beside her and she couldn’t help but laugh. The dad of four asked if he’s already finished.
