Prince William’s cheating scandal is once again making headlines after one royal fan claimed that the Duke of Cambridge definitely cheated on his wife, Kate Middleton.

Earlier this year, reports swirled that Middleton ended her friendship with Rose Hanbury because the latter had an affair with the second in line to the throne. Speculations heightened after Hanbury was spotted at a state banquet without her wedding ring.

During the outing, Hanbury’s husband was also at the venue but the couple did not sit close to each other. Rumors also swirled that Hanbury and David Cholmondeley will be divorcing.

On the online forum site Quora, one royal fan said that it is indeed possible that Prince William cheated on the other of his three children.

“Yes, I am convinced Will cheated on Kate. Unlike other obviously false news that gets recycled over and over in trashy tabloids, this one has been actually silenced constantly from getting any UK media traction… It only resurfaces in online comments, in social media, and forums on personal accounts in the US but not in the UK,” the royal fan wrote.

According to the unnamed netizen, this could be a sign that the PR of the royal couple is making huge efforts to keep things low-key. But if the accusations are unfounded and ridiculous, it is highly likely for the royal PR to step in and urge the media to stop running the same story over and over again.

Gwendolyn Hendrix McGregor Scherer, a former professor, said that she doesn’t know for sure if Prince William cheated on his wife. But she is convinced that there may be some truth to the rumors.

“For Catherine to cut her friendship with rose as suddenly as she did, talk and rumors among their upper-class friends in the Cambridges social circle, and the gag and a threat of a lawsuit against papers printing anything about the rumors made me question why,” she said.
