In the same interview, Middleton revealed that she stays up until midnight when it’s her children’s birthdays to bake a cake and she often makes a lot. The duchess added that she loves doing it.

Middleton is not the only one who cooks in the family. Speaking to Mary Berry in the new cooking special, “A Berry Royal Christmas,” the duchess recalled how Prince William used to cook for her when they were still in university.

“In university days he used to cook all sorts of meals. I think that's when he was trying to impress me, Mary! Things like bolognese sauce, and things like that,” Middleton said.

When the future queen was asked if Prince William still cooks for her, Middleton gave an affirmative response. She said that the second in line to the throne sometimes does and is very good at making breakfast.

Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust, told reporters that Prince George and Princess Charlotte love cooking and they even cook for her. The two youngsters reportedly made cheesy pasta for the duchess. One stirred the flour and the other put the milk and butter in. Prince George and Princess Charlotte also make salads and stuff.
