There's another royal wedding on the way. Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will tie the knot next year, making it the third royal wedding in three years. Despite, being the third set of nuptials, though, this wedding will change the royal family in a way the others haven't by introducing two new members into the family.

Obviously, Edoardo will become a part of the British royal family once the pair is married but so will his son, Christopher, also known as Wolfie, according to Express. So not only will Bea become a wife, but she will also become a step-mother.

Before Mozzi's relationship with Princess Beatrice, he was in a long-term relationship with American architect and designer, Dara Huang. Royal Central reported that she gave birth to their only child, Wolfie, in 2016. Just two years later, though, the previously engaged couple broke up.

It was shortly after that breakup that the 35-year-old single dad started dating Bea. The royal couple only dated for a year before getting engaged and while most would think that's not enough time to truly know someone before committing, Insider shared that they've "been family friends for most of their lives." That's actually how the two ended up getting together.

"Beatrice and Edo have the same circle of friends and were introduced through a mutual chum," a royal insider told The Sun last year. "They hit it off instantly and have a real laugh together. They’ve been on holiday together and Beatrice introduced him to Fergie and her dad. Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time."

Seeing how things have played out it, this royal insider did a great job of foreshadowing.
