Kate Middleton and her daughter Princess Charlotte share many things in common, and the young royal is quickly following her mom's footsteps as a fashionista. Previously, Middleton revealed that one area that Charlotte may also be taking after her is a talent for arts and crafts.

Last year, Middleton and Prince William stopped by the Passage homeless shelter, where they helped make cards and prep gifts for the residents for the holidays. At the time, Middleton shared that 3-year-old Princess Charlotte would enjoy making the beaded bracelets and other similar projects, according to People magazine.

Prince William also shared that between him and Duchess Kate, she was the only "artsy one." He apparently helped make a sign for a Christmas dinner, but his cutting skills garnered a laugh from his wife.

"My son knows I’m useless at this," he joked, referencing his 5-year-old son, Prince George. "Catherine is the artsy one."

It comes as no surprise that Princess Charlotte would inherit her mother's love for the arts. Middleton has a degree in art history from the University of St. Andrews and is still involved in projects released to art after she married the Duke of Cambridge.

Last year, Middleton became the first royal patron of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and was a special guest during the opening of its photography center in October, according to Harper's Bazaar. Middleton also enjoys being the photographer for her children's official royal portraits.

"The duchess' personal interest in photography, textiles and the visual arts, alongside her support for the role of art in supporting mental health and nurturing young people's creative talent, fits naturally with the collections and civic purpose of the V&A," the museum's director Tristram Hunt previously said in a statement.

Aside from arts and crafts, it was previously revealed that Princess Charlotte is also a big fan of dancing. Middleton said that her daughter "absolutely loves" to dance, and Prince William also seconded her statement months later during the Commonwealth Day reception in March 2018.

Perhaps in the future, Princess Charlotte will also incorporate art into her royal life when she starts taking on royal duties.
