Princess Charlotte's clothes and shoes, like her mother Kate Middleton's ensembles, always look good and even set trends at times. But how much do Middleton and Prince William actually spend for their only daughter's clothes?

Princess Charlotte's style is fairly predictable: a collared frock with short, puffed sleeves and Mary Jane-style shoes. Sometimes she adds a cardigan or a coat to top off the outfit or pair it with tights, but for the most part, she usually sticks with the same clothing items. What makes her outfits stand out from each other is usually the color and design of her dresses and shoes, along with the accessories she uses.

In her official portrait when she turned 3 years old last year, Princess Charlotte looked absolutely adorable in a red coat, red shoes, pink scarf and matching pink rucksack. The shoes, which previously sold out, are from Doña Carmen and cost £20 ($28), while the young royal's burgundy Razorbill coat costs £122 ($157) from Amaia.

When she headed to the hospital last year to meet her younger brother Prince Louis for the first time, Princess Charlotte wore a periwinkle floral-print dress that costs £45 ($58) from Little Alice London, which is reportedly owned by one of Middleton's school friends. She paired the dress with a navy cardigan, black Mary Jane-style shoes and white socks. The Amaia navy "rose" cardigan reportedly also costs £45.

During Prince Louis' christening in September 2018, she wore yet another blue short-sleeved frock and Mary Janes. The Amaia Kids "Shirley" blue floral print smock dress reportedly costs £85 ($109), while her Doña Carmen Blue "Mercedita Suela" shoes cost €29.95 ($34). As for her accessories, she wore a light blue Pepa & Co small bow hairband that retails at £7 ($9).

Princess Charlotte switched it up back in October 2018 when she and the rest of the Cambridge family made an appearance at the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy in the Beaufort Polo Club. Prince William had been participating in the match.

For the day out, Princess Charlotte wore the "Amelia" floral printed cotton dress from The Little White Company. It is now sold out, but it retailed at $40. She also sported Hampton canvas shoes in navy that costs £27 ($34.71), while her John Lewis sunglasses costs £7 ($9).

During the Trooping the Colour last year, Princess Charlotte wore another blue dress, which appeared to be the same one that she wore when she went to the hospital to meet Prince Louis. Her shoes, however, were the same ones she wore during her family's trip to Poland the previous year. They retail at $50, while her Condor white purl cuff anklet socks cost $6.49.
