Princess Diana could not have more children after Prince William and Prince Harry for a devastating reason.

The late Princess of Wales was a great mom to the Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex. She was photographed attending various engagements with them.

According to a royal expert, Princess Diana wanted to add more kids to her brood and even Prince Harry wanted the same because he was fed up being the youngest. However, Princess Diana couldn’t bear more children for a reason and it had something to do with her marital status.

“In June 1997 we discussed if she’d get married again,” royal expert Ingrid Seward told Daily Mail. “She said Harry was always asking her to have another baby because he was fed up with being the youngest. But it was a bit difficult, she told him, because she wasn’t married.”

Princess Diana told Seward that she loved having more children and she didn’t see herself single forever. Prince Harry was very supportive of what his mom wanted. However, Prince William didn’t share the same enthusiasm about Princess Diana getting married again.

According to Seward, Prince William wanted his mother to be there all for him. Despite the Duke of Cambridge’s opposition, the People’s Princess was still planning to try her luck in love.

“Well, I have to marry someone who’s prepared to cope with me,” Princess Diana told Seward.

The royal biographer believed that Princess Diana had the idea of marrying her then-boyfriend Hasnat Khan but just didn’t tell her. They have been talking about the sort of men Princess Diana could marry and she believed that the princess needed a young American with a huge estate.

Meanwhile there was a time when Princess Diana told Prince Harry to shut up during an engagement. According to Victoria Arbiter, the incident happened in 1992 when they were attending an engagement and the Duke of Sussex was tugging her skirt while they were watching 10-year-old Prince William giving a speech.
