Princess Eugenie’s wedding cake will be different from the pastry that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle served at their nuptials on May 19.

According to People, Princess Eugenie has tapped bespoke cake designer Sophie Cabot to create her and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding cake.

“The red velvet and chocolate cake will be a traditional cake, with a modern feel. It will incorporate the rich colors of autumn in its design and will be covered with detailed sugar work including ivy,” a statement from Kensington Palace stated.

Cabot also expressed her excitement over doing Princess Eugenie’s cake.

“I am incredibly excited to be given this wonderful opportunity to create such a special and unique cake. It has been lovely working with Princess Eugenie and Jack and I really hope they enjoy the cake on the day,” she said.

Princess Eugenie first came across Cabot’s creation after she made biscuits for Prince Andrew’s Pitch@Palace program.

Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding cake, on the other hand, was created by London-based baker Claire Ptak and her team. It was a lemon elderflower cake that incorporated the flavors of spring. It was also covered in buttercream and decorated with fresh flowers.

Meanwhile, the palace also shared details regarding the music that will be played at Princess Eugenie’s nuptials next week. James Vivian, the director of music at St. George’s Chapel, composed descants for two hymns that will be sung during the ceremony.

Andrea Bocelli is also confirmed to sing two pieces, as well as the musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, according to Harper’s Bazaar.

“It has been a great pleasure to work with HRH Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank to plan the music for their special day and we wish the couple much happiness for their future together,” James Williams, the managing director of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, said.

Additionally, State Trumpeters from the Band of the Household Cavalry will perform a fanfare that was specifically written for the ceremony. Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank will tie the knot on Oct. 12 at 11 a.m.
