Princess Eugenie recently revealed the time when Queen Elizabeth II fell in love with her fiancé Jack Brooksbank.

When Princess Eugenie told Her Majesty and Prince Philip that she and Brooksbank were planning on getting married, her grandparents immediately gave them their blessing from the get-go. “Granny actually knew right at the beginning [of the engagement]. She was very happy as was my grandfather,” she said (via Express).

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank got engaged in January on the private island of Nicaragua. During their first joint interview with BBC, the ambassador of Casamigos Tequila shared details about their engagement.

“The setting was just perfect, beautiful volcano, summer setting, birds are flying,” he said.

“The light was just a special light I had never seen. I actually said this is an incredible moment, and then he popped the question, which was really surprising even though we have been together seven years. I was over the moon. It was a complete surprise. But it was the perfect moment, we couldn’t be happier,” Princess Eugenie chimed in.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter will tie the knot with Brookbank on Oct. 12 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Their wedding ceremony and carriage procession will be televised live on an extended broadcast of ITV’s “This Morning.”

The hashtag for the couple’s royal wedding has also been revealed, and it is #royalwedding2. Emily Hodgkin, a journalist for Express, noted that the hashtag appears to indirectly mention Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because their union was the first royal wedding that was televised this year.

“From @ITV: the #royalwedding2 will be shown live in a special edition of @thismorning from 9:25 to 12:30 on Friday 12 October,” a tweet from ITV read.

Following the announcement, some Twitter users said that they will still not watch the coverage of Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s wedding on television next week.
