Queen Elizabeth II only has tea with VIPs and members of the royal family at Buckingham Palace.

Now, royal fans may experience what it’s like to eat and drink with Her Majesty, thanks to the popular waxwork tourist attraction Madame Tussauds in London. The company has launched a new experience called the Royal Tea.

Those who will visit Madame Tussauds will have the opportunity to take photos with a wax figure of the Queen sitting in front of a lavish afternoon tea set at a garden party.

For less than $20, royal fans will be treated with smoked salmon or egg mayonnaise sandwiches, Victoria sponge and brownie cakes, scones with cream and jam, and a cup of Earl Grey tea. An additional fee will be charged for those who want to avail a glass of prosecco.

To make the experience more real, the Royal Tea at Madame Tussauds features a video screen showing the Red Arrows flying past. Music is also played throughout the entire tea time, and the Queen’s corgi dogs are heard in the background.

Grant Harrold, a former butler for the royal family, already posed alongside the Queen at the museum on Friday. While speaking with Express, Harrold praised the Royal Tea and said that it is the next best thing to actually having tea with Her Majesty.

“I know a lot of people who want to meet the royals, so it’s the closest that some people are going to get. The way she’s dressed and everything is exactly how you imagine her. If you can’t meet the Queen in real life, you have to come to Madame Tussauds. When it comes to traditions and etiquette, we can see why they do it beautifully every day,” he said.

In March, Harrold talked about the Queen’s fondness for tea and said that the monarch likes her brew made with tea first and not with milk first.
