Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William and Prince Harry have all paid tribute to Prince Philip in their own ways.

The Duke of Edinburgh is already 98 years old. According to New Idea, various members of the royal family have paid tribute to Prince Philip over the years for his service and as a member of the royal family.

According to Matt Smith, who played Prince Philip’s character, in the first two seasons of “The Crown,” the Duke of Cambridge described his grandfather as a “legend” when they met. In a recent statement for BBC special “A Berry Royal Christmas,” Prince William also praised the Queen and duke’s efforts for public service.

“My grandmother [became] Queen at a very young age, in the days when it was a man’s world, it was very difficult for her to make a difference. And she’s done it. In her own very unique, distinct way - my grandmother and my grandfather together are the epitome of public service,” he said.

Just like Prince William, Princess Eugenie looks up to their grandfather. In the documentary “Our Queen at Ninety,” Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter said, “I think Grandpa is incredible.”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry made another move to honor Prince Philip. The Duke of Sussex added his surname, Mountbatten, to his and Meghan Markle’s son Archie’s full name.

On the other hand, the Queen praised her husband for being her rock. In a statement in 1997, the monarch said they owe a great debt to the Duke of Edinburgh.

“He has, quite simply, been my strength and stay all these years, and I and his whole family, in this and many other countries, owe him a debt greater than he would ever claim or we shall ever know,” Queen Elizabeth II said.

Over a week ago, Prince Philip was hospitalized. However, hours after it was confirmed that the duke was admitted to the hospital, the Queen was spotted arriving at King’s Cross station to start her traditional Christmas holiday. She was photographed looking down.

Many questioned the Queen’s decision of not visiting her husband in the hospital. According to royal expert Victoria Arbiter, the monarch’s decision was not due to “lack of sensitivity.” Royals don’t visit each other in the hospital. Also, doing so will only cost so much for her security.
