Queen Elizabeth II reportedly has a difficult relationship with Prince Harry.

According to Amalie Henden of Express, the Queen has a “difficult” relationship with the Duke of Sussex as she started to give way to Prince Charles and Prince William, causing Prince Harry to be left in the dark.

Prince Charles and Prince William are the second- and third-in-line to the throne, respectively. Both have been trained to be the future king.

Prince William and Prince Harry used to do things together. However, Prince William had to set out with his brother as he prepped for the bigger role that awaits him. Queen Elizabeth II was reportedly heartbroken for their split.

Meanwhile, royal expert Ingrid Seward said that the Queen “does not care for the alleged feud” between her grandsons. The feud would make her very sad, but she would never interfere with their private lives.

On Saturday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had their son Archie’s baptism. Queen Elizabeth II skipped the event, but according to sources, it was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s fault.

The couple reportedly set a date without checking the other royals’ calendar. Initially, they set the christening on Friday. They already discussed it with Markle’s mom and Archie’s godparents, only to find out that the Queen and Prince Charles couldn’t make it to the event.

Prince Harry and Markle decided to move it to Saturday to accommodate Prince Charles. However, the Queen couldn’t still make it because she already planned her weekend and would be spending it with her husband, Prince Philip in Sandringham. According to an insider, the couple wasn’t accommodating to the Queen.

“Her Majesty was already scheduled to be in Scotland for her annual Holyrood Week and had a prior engagement at the weekend,” an insider said. “There is a feeling amongst some that they should have been more accommodating about the date.”

Despite the reported “difficult” relationship between the royal grandmother and grandson, many believe that Prince Harry is the monarch’s favorite grandson. In fact, there was a time when Prince Harry reportedly wanted to give up his royal life and all the privileges that come with it, but the monarch didn’t let him do so. Instead, she convinced him to continue his royal duties.
