The Las Vegas Raiders have released their first depth chart ahead of Thursday's 2022 Hall of Fame Game. The team’s top players are listed as starters against the Jacksonville Jaguars, though many of them are not expected to take the field tonight.

Derek Carr is atop the depth chart as the Raiders starting quarterback, a position he’s held for nearly a decade. It would be a surprise if Carr takes a snap in Thursday’s game, considering first-string quarterbacks usually don’t play in the annual NFL exhibition opener.

The same goes for Davante Adams, who is Las Vegas’ No. 1 wide receiver. The Raiders are unlikely to risk Adams getting hurt after the team signed him to a five-year, $141.25 million contract. The Raiders acquired Adams from the Green Bay Packers in the offseason for a first and second-round draft pick.

Adams has been a First-Team All-Pro in back-to-back years. Carr threw for a career-high 4,804 yards last season, and the hope is that his numbers could get even better with Adams on the roster.

Hunter Renfrow, who signed a two-year, $32 million extension in the offseason, is the second starting wide receiver on the Raiders' depth chart. Darren Waller is the starting tight end in one of the NFL’s best receiving corps.

Mack Hollins and Keelan Cole are listed as backup receivers. If they take the field against the Jaguars, they could receive passes from Jarrett Stidham, the No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart after being traded from the New England Patriots in the offseason.

QBs Nick Mullens and Chase Garbers are behind Stidham on the latest depth chart. Mullens has a career 87.3 passer rating and 17 starts since playing in his first game four years ago. The Raiders signed Garbers this spring as an undrafted rookie from California.

Las Vegas’ biggest question marks are on defense. The Raiders hope that the addition of Chandler Jones can help improve the unit. Jones had 10.5 sacks for the Arizona Cardinals last season.

Jones is unlikely to play Thursday. The same goes for starting defensive end Maxx Crosby, who was named a 2021 Second-Team All-Pro selection.

Many of the players atop the Raiders' depth chart are likely to make their 2022 debut when the team hosts the Minnesota Vikings on Aug. 14 in Week 1 of the preseason.

Josh McDaniels will make his debut as the Raiders head coach Thursday. McDaniels spent the last 10 years as the Patriots offensive coordinator.

The Hall of Fame Game kicks off at 8 p.m. ET Thursday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
