A latest rumor claimed singers and celebrity couple Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were having a “miracle baby,” a claim that has been debunked multiple times in the past year and was similarly rubbished this time by Gossip Cop.

The false narrative was woven by Ok! Magazine, the very tabloid which has been notorious for trying to perpetuate the myth of Stefani’s pregnancy for the past three years. But as resilient as the tabloid is, it gave the baseless rumor another go this year with a piece called “Gwen & Blake: Miracle Baby At 49!”

The tabloid claimed the couple had been desperately trying to get pregnant and in their efforts, had unsuccessfully spent $230,000 on various medical treatments. However, an anonymous insider said the couple had finally found success with the “third round of IVF.”

So what was the proof that the “Hollaback Girl” singer was pregnant with her boyfriend’s baby? The magazine piece reported Stefani was seen a few weeks ago in Beverly Hills wearing “loose clothing” which spurned the rumors. Based on those rumors, the tabloid declared Shelton and Stefani were “expecting their first child together.”

“Gwen’s giving every indication that she’s pregnant, and it looks like she may already have a baby bump” the so-called source, who claimed to be Stefani’s close friend said. “This is the miracle they’ve been praying for.”

The insider went on to say Shelton had “already chosen a name” for the baby they were allegedly expecting and even “invited their loved ones to Blake’s ranch in Oklahoma and announced that they’re having a girl.”

Gossip Cop pointed out that the insider conveniently refrained from mentioning what the name was which the “Mine Would Be You” singer picked out for their imaginary daughter or when Stefani was due to deliver their alleged child. All these gaps of information in the article pointed to the story being “fake news.”

After spreading a false rumor about their “miracle child,” the OK! Magazine’s source also went onto rehash rumors about the couple’s fictional wedding that has been circulating in the news lately.

“Amid the baby news, sources are spilling that the longtime couple have already made things official…. There are whispers that they quietly tied the knot six months ago,” the insider said.

It is important to note, yet again, if the unnamed source was indeed a close friend of the singer, he or she would have had real details about the so-called wedding the couple were apparently planning.

The same tabloid claimed in January that Stefani and Shelton had “quietly” taken marital vows in a “backyard wedding,” claims which were proven untrue at the time.
