Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie do not have plans to spend Thanksgiving together amid their ongoing divorce and upcoming custody battle over their six children.

Jolie, who shares kids Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne with Pitt, first filed for divorce from the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” actor in 2016. However, a recent report is claiming the “Maleficent 2” star would like to spend the holiday with her estranged husband amid their legal battles.

Hollywood Life published a story sharing details from a supposed source, who suggested Jolie was hoping to surprise her kids by inviting Pitt over for the upcoming holiday. “Angelina knows the kids would love Brad to be there for the special day,” the “insider” said.

The mysterious confidant claimed Jolie hoped the invite would “create some peace between them” amid their legal proceedings, but the actress feared Pitt would not take her up on the offer.

“She has major doubts Brad would take her up on the offer, but she wants to do something nice for the kids. Angie is hoping this will be the olive branch that might show Brad she’s serious when she says she will always want him in the kids’ lives.”

Despite the allegations, a Jolie source told Gossip Cop no one close to the actress has spoken to Hollywood Life about her plans for Thanksgiving. The fact-checking website also noted the estranged couple is in the middle of a tense custody battle and would most likely spend the holiday apart.

While the false report claims Jolie is seeking Pitt’s assistance to do something nice for her kids, the actress was spotted out with her three youngest in California over the weekend and the group appeared to be in great spirits, according to TMZ.

Pitt and Jolie’s custody trial is expected to begin on Dec. 4. The actress will reportedly be seeking physical custody of her six children while the actor has requested joint legal and physical custody.
