Rebel Wilson Claims She Was Sexually Harassed By ‘Male Star In Power’
Rebel Wilson recently came forward with her own sexual harassment story by a male star, who was also in a position of power.
I called my agent immediately and my lawyer made a complaint with the studio - basically to protect myself that in the event something similar ever occurred I'd be able to walk out of the job and not obliged to return.

On Saturday, the “Pitch Perfect” actress penned a lengthy post on Twitter detailing the harrowing experience. According to Wilson, the unnamed male star asked to her to go to a room with him and asked him to stick her fingers up his butt. The male star’s friends were also in the room, and they filmed the incident. Wilson said she wouldn’t do it and left the room.
Later I was threatened by one of the star's representatives to be nice and support the male star. I refused. The whole thing was disgusting.

I've told hundreds of people in the industry the story in more graphic detail basically to warn them off this individual.
Following the incident, Wilson told his lawyer about it, and they filed a complaint against the studio involved. But instead of getting an apology from the studio and the male star, Wilson was threatened by one of the actor’s representatives to be “nice and support” him.
Earlier in my career, I also had a 'hotel room' encounter with a top director. I thought we were there to talk comedy. Nothing physical happened because the guy's wife called and started abusing him over the phone for sleeping with actresses and luckily she was yelling so loud...

The 37-year-old actress also shared a second sexual harassment story, this time involving a top director. Wilson was asked to go to the director’s hotel room and she did because she thought they would talk about comedy. However, the director tried to make sexual advances at her, but he didn’t succeed.
Wilson said that the director’s wife called him on the phone and lambasted him for sleeping with actresses. The wife was yelling so loud Wilson managed to get out of the hotel room before anything physical could happen between her and the director.
I know, moving forward, that if I witness this behavior, whether it happens to me or someone I know, I will no longer be POLITE. Interpret that as you will.

The actress acknowledged the fact that not everyone is as lucky as her to have escaped both situations. “I know, moving forward, that if I witness this behavior, whether it happens to me or someone I know, I will no longer be POLITE. Interpret that as you will,” she wrote.
Wilson is not the only actress who shared her grueling experiences with sexual harassment. A couple of weeks ago, Rose McGowan accused Harvey Weinstein of sexually assaulting her. Multiple women also came forward with the same accusations towards the film producer, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Comedian Louis C.K. was also accused by at least five women of sexually harassing them. “Gossip Girl” alum Ed Westwick is also tied to similar allegations by two women, according to the Guardian.
