  • The Redditor claimed that the Pixel Watch was comfortable when worn
  • Earlier leaks matched rumors surrounding the wearable
  • Google filed a trademark application on April 19

A Reddit user has leaked supposed photos of the highly-anticipated Google Pixel Watch, with the images showing how the wearable looks like when it is worn. The said Redditor previously leaked supposed photos of the unannounced Google wearable.

In his Tuesday post about the Google Pixel Watch, Reddit user @tagetch414 said the “20mm width” wearable was “kind of a pain to attach the first time,” but noted that it was “the most comfortable watch I’ve ever worn.” The user went on to compare the yet-to-be-announced wearable to the Samsung Galaxy Watch, noting that the supposed Pixel Watch “feels like it’s not even there.”

The user also explained that the “crown does NOT poke into the back of my hand when bending my wrist back or typing,” adding that the watch is the type “I’d have no problem wearing for long periods of time and even at night for sleep tracking.” The Redditor said it was his “buddy” who got wind of the watch. The user created an imgur album where the images can be found.

In earlier supposed leaks of a Google Pixel Watch prototype that were sent anonymously to Android Central, the wearable can be seen with a minimalist design and a potential hidden button. The prototype was reportedly found at a restaurant. Android Central reported that the leaked images matched previous rumors about what the Pixel Watch would look like. The outlet also predicted that the Pixel Watch may be released alongside the Pixel 7 smartphone.

The latest leak came after a trademark application for “Pixel Watch” was filed by Google with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on April 19. As of writing, the trademark application’s status was noted as “accepted by the Office (has met the minimum filing requirements)” but has “not yet been assigned to an examiner.”

Furthermore, the filing noted that the Pixel Watch’s “trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of smartwatches; cases adapted for holding smartwatches; wearable computers in the nature of smartwatches; smartwatch straps; smartwatch bands.”

Previous leaks referred to the Google smartwatch as “Pixel Rohan,” 9to5Google reported. However, no confirmations were made about the name of the wearable until news about the trademark filing emerged.

TechCrunch has also predicted that the wearable may be unveiled at the two-day Google I/O event at the Shoreline Ampitheater in California, which will kick off on May 11. Google has yet to comment on the leaked photos.
