Following the release of her Nicki Minaj diss, “shETHER,” Remy Ma became the talk of the hip-hop world, but it seems like the “All the Way Up” rapper is having second thoughts about her lyrics and beef.

Appearing on a Facebook Live Q&A for Buzzfeed’s Another Round podcast, Remy Ma revealed she doesn’t like tearing down other women. “I do not condone or recommend the tearing down of another female,” she said. “Anybody that knows me knows that I embrace females… I think we work so much better when we work together and when we help each other.”

Still, the 36-year-old artist does not want to be seen as a pushover and had a warning for other people. “However, in the event that you piss me off and we become arch enemies, run for cover.”

But while the rapper isn’t afraid to become arch enemies with people, she isn’t exactly proud of her diss. In a song that features her making accusations of Nicki Minaj sleeping with other people in the hip-hop industry and using drugs, Remy is bothered by the track’s success.

“It just bothers me that this record that I put out where it’s literally picking apart a female went so viral, and every media outlet wants to talk about it and pick it up,” the hip-hop artist said, revealing she rather would have teamed up with Nicki for a song. “I feel like we could’ve done the same thing working together.”

Remy Ma added that while she wasn’t “particularly proud” of her diss track, she doesn’t regret it. “I just personally think it would’ve been so much cooler… If we came together and made something crazy… It could’ve been totally different.”

The rapper’s podcast appearance wasn’t her first time promoting positivity among female MCs. During an interview with Rap Up, Remy revealed that following her return from jail, she warned Minaj that people would try and put them against each other.
