Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the British royal family have impressed most people upon their first meeting, as shown in a new documentary.

ABC, People and Four M studios teamed up for the upcoming documentary, "The Story of the Royals," which will air next week. A preview featured a number of individuals who have met Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana, Prince William and Prince Harry in person, and here's what they have to say about the members of the Firm.

Queen Elizabeth II

Harry Benson met the Queen for a photoshoot. He said that he initially feared he would say something stupid. He ended up asking the monarch if she sleeps with her dogs, and her response surprised him.

"No, because they snore," he quoted Queen Elizabeth II as saying (via People).

After the photoshoot, the Queen left and returned with her dogs, who had been out in the Buckingham Palace garden. The dogs were "all wet and dirty."

"But it was nice, it was sweet," he said.

Princess Diana

Patrick Jephson, the late Princess of Wales' private secretary, considered their first meeting to be "mind-blowing." He also praised Princess Diana for being so approachable.

"She was both intimidating as a princess, as an amazingly statuesque figure, and yet fabulously warm and approachable and funny and quick," Jephson said about the People's Princess.

"I was a military officer who believed in the presence of royalty that only the most formal of formalities was acceptable. And yet instantly I felt here was somebody who had a charisma that seemed to bathe you in a kind of golden light," he added.

Prince William

Royal author Penny Junor finds Prince William very likable. According to her, Kate Middleton's husband is "charming, absolutely charming." She added that the Duke of Cambridge is "very funny" and "interested in people."

However, Junor added that there's a "faint awkwardness" which is absent in Prince Harry. The Duke of Sussex sometimes jokes at his own expense which feels like one is just talking to a normal person.

Prince Harry

David Wiseman of Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge saw Prince Harry's passion when the royal was with those who served in the military. According to him, the Duke of Sussex "really becomes himself when he's around veterans."

He also added that Meghan Markle's husband had a vision of the Invictus Games and "he drives people toward that vision." He also believes that Prince Harry and Markle are "an incredible match."

"The Story of the Royals" airs on Aug. 22 and 23 at 9 p.m. and 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
