Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman never got to team up in a “Deadpool” movie, but the Deadpool and Wolverine actors are working together on their other businesses. They released a video on Wednesday to declare a “truce” and promote both of their companies.

The video shows Reynolds and Jackman talking about the end of their “social media war” and reveal that they’ve made ads for Jackman’s Laughing Man coffee and Reynolds’ Aviation Gin. Reynolds shows off his expensive and heartwarming commercial for coffee where he calls Jackman a “loving and caring man.”

After he admits that he spent $1 million on the promo, Jackman tries to hold off on showing his ad. It plays despite his protests and shows him calling Reynolds an expletive. “The gin’s pretty great, though. I’ll have to try it someday,” he says as he spills the gin onto the table.

Jackman apologizes for not believing their truce was real. The actors teased fans on social media last week that a truce was coming.

The two Marvel actors have had fun teasing each other on social media over the past few years. In 2015, Jackman posted a video of Reynolds in full Deadpool makeup mocking him in an Australian accent. Reynolds showed up at a party in an ugly Christmas sweater last year only to learn that Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal lied to him about the dress code.

Reynolds said last year that they’re at war because Jackman won’t appear in “Deadpool” movies as Wolverine. “I would love him to,” Reynolds told Ellen DeGeneres in December. "I would love to do a Deadpool, Wolverine mashup at some point, some kind of Logan thing. I don’t know. He’s on this kick ball change kick right now. I can’t seem to bring him back. I can’t seem to bring him back to the violence and mayhem. I’m trying. I talk to him every other day. Every other, other day he takes the call. But yeah, no, it’s not really a rivalry. It’s war.”

Jackman, however, has made it clear that he retired his adamantium claws.
